+ after the success of the last TBWB live talks in Philadelphia, more should be forthcoming, some with music sets as part of the package: the first apparance of the new year took place at Chicago's Dorkbot on January 28th, and was video'ed by Jon Cates. Next up is an appearance at New York's School of Visual Arts, on March 24, at the invitation of Joseph Nechvatal. Watch this space for more details.

+ I recently did a 1-hour "Clear Spot" broadcast on London's excellent Resonance FM, dealing with many of the subjects covered in my new book- for those who were unable to listen in, I have uploaded the show to this site's downloads page. Enjoy, but note that I've had to remove the musical interludes for obvious reasons.

+ The financial situation here still looks fairly grim- while most of the medical and equipment expenses I mentioned back in December have been taken care of, there is still much ground to cover if I hope to ever professionally release music again. I've started a "ChipIn" to collect donations from anyone who can contribute, more information is available here. As you will be able to see from that post, I have some novel ways of repaying your kindness that will hopefully benefit you as well.

+ Beginning March 5, the second 'semester' of the very well-received Belsona Academy podcast will be broadcast on London's Resonance FM (in the wake of my first 'Micro Bionic' show there.) Scheduled for the next set of shows should be scorching new live sessions from Zbigniew Karkowski with Junky Cao and Wang Fan,exclusive new work from John Duncan and more. All 12 episodes of the 1st season are still archived and available from iTunes. The first edition of the "Belsona Archive" LP series, inspired by contributions to the first B.A. season, is in the recording stages and will feature an immersive track from Francisco Lopez, plus other delightfully overwhelming Thomas Bey William Bailey and Lee Gamble pieces.
