MICRO BIONIC

Would you like your recording(s) to be reviewed on the MicroBionic blog? We are constantly on the lookout for new and exciting manifestations of radical electronic music, and are happy to help share them with new audiences. Here are a few simple guidelines:
+ We accept submissions on vinyl, CD, cassette, and minidisc formats. You may also link to an MP3 version of a work, but it must be a complete audio work (not an excerpt), and must be in the highest possible audio resolution that you can make available. Material can be accepted on "promo" formats such as CD-R rather than professionally duplicated materials.
+ Material sent for submission must be commercially available- no demos or works-in-progess. Whether the edition size of your release is 2 copies or 2,000,000, it should be something that the general public will be able to hear, and more importantly, will be able to buy or barter.
+ Music submitted should be of an electronic nature, but please no electronic 'dance' music of any genre. While we aren't prejudiced against electronic music which uses rhythmic elements, the M.B. blog is not focused on music produced for club / dancefloor use. We are concerned with exploring the transformative uses of electronic music beyond its most popular use as a "lifestyle" enhancer, and as such we welcome all other types of electronic composition from the realms of 'glitch,' 'noise,' 'Industrial,' 'drone,' 'computer music,' 'sampling', 'electro-acoustic,' 'acousmatic,' 'psycho-ambient' and all the many other unnamable manifestations of this art.
+ The most recent releases will be given reviewing priority. While it is ok to send material that is dated by a maximum of 2 years, it is recommended to send your newest material.
Address for sending materials is:
Thomas Bailey, 4004 E. 76th St., Tulsa OK, 74136, USA.
alternately, email me here if you are sending material digitally (or if you have further questions.)
